Sixth Annual Rock & Gem Show

The Parksville and District Rock and Gem Club is hosting their Sixth Annual Rock and Gem Show November 30 (9:30am - 4:30pm) and December 1 (9:30am - 4pm) at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre, 747 Jones Street, Qualicum Beach.

This is a two day celebration of all things related to rocks, minerals, and rockhounding in general. There will be demonstrations of flint knapping, faceting, and cutting and shaping stone. The non-profit organization, Below BC, will bring their expertise on geology and the uses we make of minerals in every day life. There will be children's activities and lots of vendors from which to purchase treasures.

A full kitchen with food and beverages is available as are chairs for rest! This is a fun, family event.
