Parksville Curling Club Launch Week Events

Parksville Curling Club (PCC) is very excited to announce a series of special events featuring renowned Canadian Curler and Olympian Cheryl Bernard. Cheryl who hails from Calgary is currently the President & CEO, Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame. She is a 2X Olympian & Olympic Silver Medalist (Vancouver 2010) and served as a curling analyst with TSN Sports. As well as being an accomplished athlete, Cheryl is also a business leader.

Cheryl will be at the PCC during our launch week. She will meet with curling club volunteers as well as hold a free junior coaching session open to young curlers from all mid island curling clubs. Friday she will conduct for a small fee an open forum for experienced curlers (open to all public) on strategy, preparedness, mental toughness, team makeup, leadership etc. On Saturday evening the PCC will be hosting Cheryl and, for a small fee, mid island curlers as well as non curlers can meet Cheryl in a social setting for an inspirational evening that will include refreshments and appetizers. One of the highlights of the weekend will be the opportunity through a raffle to win a one-on-one session with Cheryl.
