MABR BioBlitz

Join us for the annual MABR BioBlitz at Milner Gardens and Woodland on Saturday April 5th. This event is intended for beginner BioBlitzers who wish to learn how to identify plant, animal, and insect species alongside local knowledge holders with expertise in various fields of natural science.

This year we are offering three separate sessions for participants to join. Each group is led by an expert in the field who will assist in species identification. Registration is required for each session. Participants are welcome to register for more than one session.

Bird identification group: 9:00am – 10:30am
Plant identification group: 10:30am – 12:00pm
Break for refreshments: 12:00pm – 12:30pm
Insect identification group: 12:30pm – 2:00pm

Data sheets will be provided, however, participants are also welcome to use their own identification applications if desired.

Participants can sign in at the welcome centre of Milner Gardens (near the entrance), and then join their group outside of the gift shop. Please give yourself ample time to sign in and venture down to the gift shop.
