Spring on the Beach - A Dog Friendly Exception

While the region is dog friendly for most of the year, they are banned from the beaches located in the Parksville and Qualicum Beach Wildlife Management Area during the Black Brant geese migration period every spring. Please observe signs and expect to be approached by conservation staff during this time. Stop by a Visitor Centre or inquire when you check-in at your hotel with any questions.
